MM fondant on lemon cake with raspberry filling, and a light raspberry and white chocolate buttercream icing. Cupcakes were lemon with same icing, adorned with gumpaste roses, rosebuds, butterflies, bows and pearls. Cake stand was made with cake rounds and tin cans and a hot glue gun, with images printed from the napkins and trim to match.

I made this for my daughter for her 23rd birthday. White chocolate cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. For the backdrop, I used a Wilton blue sugar sheet, and then I painted the picture on with food coloring and the Wilton Sparkle Gels in black, white and yellow. She LOVED it!!

I made this for my son's 7th birthday...I know it's not perfect, but he loved it and that's all that matters. =). The shark was made with rice krispie treats over a pvc elbow, and had mm fondant covering it, and mm fondant for those huge teeth. =) The cake was dark chocolate and I swirled some light and dark blue food coloring into the buttercream to get the water color.

I made this last week for a Quinceñera. I was so scared! I had never made a tiered cake like this, and the party was for 150 people. It's chocolate/chocolate buttercream filling on the bottom and vanilla/vanilla buttercream filling on top, It was also my first attempt at gumpaste roses. Her colors were pink, white and fuchsia (which was hard to find a food coloring for!) and she supplied the topper herself.
I saw a cake like this online and decided to make it for the school's Fall Festival auction. It was my first time working with gumpaste, so I was a little nervous, but I think it turned out pretty well. The cake was pumpkin spice with a cream cheese filling.
This was a camouflage cake with "desert booties" that I made for a baby shower. I don't care for the whole idea of anything camo for anything BABY, but to each his own, I guess! I made this cake for delivery yesterday to a baby shower. I wasn't crazy about the dark pink/green colors that the lady wanted at first, but as it came together I really started to warm up to them, lol..the little bear at the bottom was gum paste that started out more upright, but as he sat there, he kind of settled and ended up looking like a fat ol' bear, lol..I almost kept him for myself, he was so cute after that, lol!
This was my second-ever attempt at working with fondant, and my first with gumpaste. I bought the fairy after the whole cake was made and got really lucky at finding something to match the colors I had used! I think I rolled the fondant a little too thin, but overall I was happy with the end result...the birthday girl loved it! This was a vanilla-almond-raspberry cream cheese pound cake, with a chocolate ganache and raspberry cream filling.
