Another Disney Princess
I made this for a little girl whose 2 previous birthday cakes, I've made, have been Disney Princess'. She's already had Cinderella & Aurora. Her mother joked that next year she will be too old for a Disney Princess cake, so she won't be able to complete the set! Hand cut with handpainted features.

Home At Last
I made this cake last year for a baby who was born 3 months early. Mom & dad were told to expect no more than a hello, but he came out screaming & has been fighting ever since. This cake was to celebrate him finally being allowed to come home from the hospital. It was inspired by all the lovely baby cakes on cc. TFL

Lego Bodie As Dr Who
I made this cake for my darling nephew. When asked what cake he wanted this year he replied "I want a Lego man. No I want a cake of me as a Lego man. Oh and I want to be dressed as the Doctor and I can I have that shiny stuff on his bow tie." The thing is he knows he's the only one who get's away with telling me exactly how he wants his cake & he doesn't have to pay a penny for it lol He's all cake with fondant arms & hands.

Almost A Disney Princess Cake
This cake was made for friends who all have April birthdays. They have a shared party every year & one big cake between them. I have done the cake for this for the past 3 years & usually there are 6 children. Some of them are now at different schools so this cake was just for the 3 girls. It was meant to be a Disney Princess cake but Libby changed her mind at the last minute & wanted Peppa Pig! I usually do the cake as a big jigsaw, beacuse of the boys, & was glad to be able to do something different & more girly. The characters are all hand painted on fondant.

More Shoes For Pippa
This was for the same girl I did the slingbacks for. It was very last minute so I didn't have the time to make the shoes how I wanted. I also wanted them to be in red satin but couldn't get the right lustre at my local store. I ended up with a very sticky edible paint which took 5 coats to get a finsh I still didn't like!

Mario
This is my shoulda woulda coulda cake lol I got asked to make a Mario cake for a friend of a friend's son & then his mom just kept adding more characters. So as a result I ran out of time to do all the extra little details around the sides. I'm kinda pleased with how the figures turned out esp Bowser, but I think the plain-ness of the rest of it lets it down. TFL

For Charlotte
I made this cake for my dh's colleague who's just adopted a little girl. I piped the verse on the cake, which was given to her by a friend when they started the adoption process. I made the dragon because her dh is Welsh & they always have a Welsh flag on every cake I've ever made them. This time she didn't ask for it so I thought I'd make it as a surprise, as it seemed well fitting for the occasion. She was so overjoyed when she saw it that she just started crying.
