Sugar cookie recipe with royal icing. This was my first time using royal icing on them. We usually use a buttercream icing.
This was not a cake intended for anything special. I was just experimenting with the crusting butter cream and a white velvet cake. I didn't like either btw. The icing at least tasted good. I just whipped up some regular butter cream and did the decoration, and even let my mom try her hand at the firework on the right, ha ha.
