Conversation heart cookies for Valentine's Day. My three year old son did the cookie in the middle - picking out only the yellow candies, as that's his favorite color!
Simple football cupcakes for the Superbowl.
The idea was taken from KittisKakes - though I love her handwriting and roses so much better than mine!! This was for my friend's daughter's first birthday, and I was just happy to have an "excuse" to try making it.
For a friend's granddaughter's birthday. I have never watched the show, so a HUGE thanks to all the folks on Cake Central for the ideas - the cake made her day!

Thanks, shrn1975, for the idea and helpful hints. 6 inch 2 layer top, 8 inch 2 layer bottom. A birthday cake for three one-year-olds!
My son's first birthday cake - copied the Hugs and Stitches plates and napkins much like other parents on CakeCentral! I did a dark blue and light blue basketweave on the side.
Thank you, awolf24, for the idea and the help!!! These were so much fun to make!!!
My Wilton Course III cake from the top.
My Wilton Course III final cake!
Blue cake with white roses and some cornelli lace "stripes." All BC.

My first non-"cake class" cake; made it for my sister-in-law's birthday.
All buttercream. My roses were the mushiest/softest ever - guess that happens when it is raining and 90 degrees!
All buttercream decorations. The idea was from several cakes I saw in the gallery - thank you Cake Central!! It made a great gift!
Buttercream icing, royal flowers, chocolate cake with raspberry filling. I was afraid to color a cake green, but I like the way it turned out! My husband thought it was "antique-y" looking.
