3 layer tiered cake. My first attempt at this size. Figures and overlay are made from rolled fondant.
Completely edible shoes! I cut the base of the shoes from layered sheet cakes then used rice krispy treats to mold the ankles of the shoes. Then both cakes were overlayed with rolled fondant. This was a real hit!

I built a wooden platform riser to lay this cake on so the wheels would not be flush to the cake. The car is all cake, chilled then cut into the cars shape. I then overlayed with fondant. The whindshield was made of 2 layers of fondant over popsicle sticks and dried to hard consistency. The wheels, seatbacks and golf clubs are made from rice krispy treats with fondant overlay. For a finishing touch I brushed the car and seats with Wilton's shimmer dust. My Dad loved it!
