this cake is for our foreign exchange student, who returns home on Thursday. The cake is chocolate-buttermilk, with chocolate raspberry filling. BC frosting; candy clay flute. I was fairly pleased with this cake and even managed to deliver it safely. (If you're interested, the music is by Quantz, from his 4th Flute duet - 1st mov't, 1st flute.)
This was a graduation gift for a friend of mine. You can see where the bass drum suffered from the drive to deliver the cake! I used buttercream frosting, white chocolate circles for the tops of the cakes. The drum hardware bits are candy clay. (My dad and I custom-welded all the support bits)
