I took lessons from Wilton (Cake company) and this was my first cake... that was in 2004....
My first "fondant" cake I did just for fun of trying out what it is all about. Not too bad but not greatest either :-) But it was a lot of fun to do this with my daughter who was "assisting" me and occasionaly giving me a helping hand....
My first gingerbread house made last december (in 2006)...
