Barnyard Fun
I did this little quickie last night for a class I'm teaching for a friend. I am showing a group of 4 and 5 year olds how to make farm animals with cupcakes, and the cake is the "center peice". This should be alot of fun! I'm going to have them use fun items like starbursts for clay, to make the different body parts and thing. Notice the pigs tail, ears, and snout, they are cherry starbursts. If you'd like to know how to do this, just send me a PM and I'll be happy to share!

Cupcakes For School
I made these yesterday for my daughter's class for her birthday. It's the last time I will ever do this for my children...my baby isn't a baby anymore! :( The ladies in the office kept saying, 'those look so professional, where did you buy them?' That's when I showed them my logo card. Everyone was very excited, especially my girl. Happy 12th birthday Alissa!

New Years 2008 Sparkle Cake
Just finished this one for my daughter's party...a quicky with some nifty $1 store decorating finds. The paper on the pillar board, and the topper a balloon weight that I took apart and used a different way, and added my whole hand crafted 2008 numbers too. Spritzed with canned edible paint and then coated in super pearl dust, then dusted with sugar sparkles. The center decoration is a bow in the same oppulesant(spelling) colors and stuck in the center, surrounded by curly ribbon of the same. Simple..

Snow Queen
I made this for a ladies christmas party tonight. Had some "DOH" moments when the throne went to peices(fixed that) and then when I accidentally dumped the topper over the side of the bar onto my kitchen floor(Another really big "DOH" moment and hanging my head in shame! Fixed that too!) This is my first carving experience as well as making RI figures. The picture doesn't show all the shiny glitteriness, it sure it pretty. Started out making this for fun, but glad it's going to be enjoyed by others.

Fun With Ramekins!
I just got my new little toys and boy have I been having fun! My family thinks we are eating all "gormet chef" style, and a couple of friends have gotten to share the yumminess...they think I'm the coolest mom ever!! Wish my kids thought that!! LOL Anyway, these are chocolate surprise(ganche filled) with powdered sugar, ganche, and caramel, and a dab of cherry preserves as a garnish. Tasty!! ;)

Harry Potter, Order Of The Phoenix
I just did this cake last minute for my DD's birthday tomorrow. It's not my best work, as I am sick as a dog, with fever and all. On top of that it's been very hot the last few days. I found a "wand" pen at Hot Topic(boy was I out place in that store! LOL) and I had an edible printed for me from her favorite pic of "Harry". Nothing fancy, and not my best, but she loves it! Thanks for looking!

Special Order Cookie Bouquet For Friends At A Local Business
These are peanutbutter cookies with edible art on them. I guilded the edges to give them a more "Rich" look. Pictures are ships and scenes from the game that our friends are building. They work so hard we thought we'd surprise them with a treat. This one is going to one of the girls in the office who is allergic to chocolate, but loves peanut butter. I'm also making a "Treasure Chest" full of goodies for the rest of the gang. I'll post that tomorrow sometime when it's finished.

Stacee's 16Th Birthday. Disco Theme. She Picked The Colors.
I just finished this at 4am! I've yet to see my girls reaction. My DH says it's really tall!! He thinks it's more cake than we will eat. Of course he doesn't realize that there are about 25 kids coming over!! LOL Teen-agers, cake, you do the math!! LOL It didn't turn out as great as I would have liked, but it sure was fun!!

Whew!! It's finally done and over! LOL Not exactly what I had in my head, but pretty great non-the-less! Bride loved it, and has already recommended me to 3 of her friends! I am just glad that it made it in fairly good shape(minus a couple of touch ups at the site) and didn't take too long to set up. I am pleased over all with my results, but I will never do this flavor of cake again for this big of a wedding!!!!

Alissa's Mermaid Cake
This is one of the birthday cakes that I had to do in the middle of the big wedding cake due next week. Tomorrow I have 36 cupcakes to make for school on thursday. It's my little girls last time to take treats on her birthday!! *crys alittle, cuz she's old!!!* My baby isn't a baby anymore...sighs...but the cake looks great! It was also a "hurry up" cake. Nothing fancy, and the little mermaid I found at the dollar store. Tired...must sleep soon...

We are celebrating early because our children are going away for spring break to the ex's(his and mine) on Friday. My DH is a big pirate game fan, and so........what else would I make him!!! I will never do palm trees this way again!!! *rolls eyes* Check out my thread on the forums about this cake!!
