First Gingerbread House
This was my first Gingerbread House. I figured I could bake, decorate cookies, so surely I could build a Gingerbread House. Much more labor intensive than I imagined it would be and some frustrating moments, but over-all, very happy with my first attempt. Gingerbread, royal icing covered sugar cones for trees, royal icing windows peak, pretzels for fences, and various candies for decorating. The roof was done with fondant.

Where The Wild Things Are
My daughter turned 16 and loves the book Where The Wild Things Are and can't wait for the movie in October, so we designed a cake based on the book. Edible Image with a buttercream Moushie peeking over the top. The sides was made to resemble monster fur. She was very pleased with how it turned out.

Nintendo - 80's Style
White cake covered with MMF and MMF accents......I'm not pleased with this at all.....I remember now why it's been 3 years since I worked with fondant.....it's because I don't like too! LOL This is a birthday cake that my dear friend asked me to make for her boyfriend for his 80's themed birthday party.....actually she beggged me, and I couldn't tell her no. I gave it my best shot but obviously I should stick to buttercream cakes and cookies!
