1St Birthday Cake And 1St Cake I Ever Made

This was my son's first birthday cake and the whole reason why I started trying to make cakes. I was happy with how it turned out considering it was my first cake. The balls are fondant, the top of the cupcake was whip cream which started melting in the heat, and the rest is buttercream. We carved the cupcake out of 6 inch cakes. This was before wilton had their big cupcake pan!

50Th Birthday Nascar Cake

Made this for my Dad's 50th birthday. Only the bottom tier has MMF on it. Wish I would have covered the rest in MMF or used the tip to make it look likegrass. I was working on a tighter schedule than planned. Not what I wanted, but he was pleased
