A co-worker helped me make these cupcakes for the bake sale to raise money for the Susan B. Koman's Cancer Awareness Day at work. They were a big hit at the bakesale, they sold out immediately! People did not believe we made them, they thought we bought them because they were too nice! What a great compliment! The pink ribbon medallions were made of fondant.
My parents travel a lot, so I though this suitcase cake was just perfect foot my Dad's birthday. I was guava & cream cheese flavored! Divine!

This was a Groom's cake for a BIG Steelers fan! It was right after the super bowl! Everything is covered in fondant and the little Bride & Groom footballs are made of fondant as well :)

Strawberry cake with cream cheese icing as filling. Lightly covered with butter cream and finally topped with fondant! It was for my bestfriend's 30th Martini themed party this weekend!
Light vanilla rum cake, filled and lightly coated with butter cream then topped with fondant. This baby took a long time to decorate, but it was totally worth it for me :) I first covered it with fondant, then patiently cut out little fondant circles for the fish scales and layed them over my initial layer of fondant.

The cake was modeled after the partyware. . . everything is edible except the tassle, the bows on the diplomas, & the top part of the graduation hat.
One layer was Chocolate rum, the other was vanilla rum, light coat of buttercream, & fondant top coat. I just love fondant! Looks so classy :)
