My first attempt at cake pops for Halloween
This was my first time doing a pillow cake, defin. learned what not to do for next time. Overall I liked how it turned out, 3 tiers all iced in buttercream, oval plaque is gumpaste. Tiers are 10", 6" and pillow was cut from a 6".
8" & 10" cake carved for winding road. All iced in buttercream icing and candy rocks. Trucks, cones and signs provided by customer.
8" round cake with bottom cut flat. The handle, clasp and top of cake is fondant, the rest of the cake is iced in buttercream. The face of Betty is piped freehand.
8 4" baby blocks with animals and numbers. All blocks were cut from 8" square, iced in buttercream and the animals were piped freehand.
Cake sizes were 8" & 10", the playing cards, poker chips and dice were plastic. The customer provided the candles for the top.
