"cup...cake"
A fudgie brownie molded and covered in BC and fondant. I created this for my MIL who didn't even want a cake this year but I couldn't help myself. We have shared many cups of coffee together and she deserves to be celebrated. Don't miss my most clever moment as I snuck in her new age (56) in the wisp of steam.

Easy Release Cupcake Bouquet
There are tons of these posted but my idea for easy relase worked like a dream. Staple the cups together and then cover with a sheet of plastic. (I used part of a plastic tablecloth). Create a little dip in the plastic over each cup before pulling the excess tight and tying with a ribbon. To remove the cupcukes simply tug on the plastic next to the cupcake you want and viola! it pops right up!

Mint Chocolate Oreo
Oreo cake II recipe from CC with cookie crumbs and peppermint added to regular Wilton BC. The white lines and dots are melted mint candy melts. Just wanted to make a bakery style cake and practice the rope border. My kids can't wait to eat it! Design credit goes to AmburlyDawn, with my own twist.

Spring Butterflies
Carrot with Cream Cheese BC. My first time trying the BC roses and I've got some learning to do especially with the consistency of icing. My first time with chocolate butterflies or chocolate anything for that matter, it was very easy and I can't wait to try again and make them more neat. please look at "Summer Garden" by merrisa here on CC because her cake is who I modeled mine after. It does not do hers justice but I enjoyed the learning experience none the less. Thanks for looking!

Zebra- Take Two!
This is the same cake that I uploaded the other day but with a new icing job. I learned the hard way that when you put fondant on whipped icing the fondant turns to a puddle. I re-cied the same cake with green BC instead of white whipped icing, a better variation for my sister after all since her favorite color is green! Banana Creme cake anyway, is very good!
