1/2 sheet using cake projector to transfer the images.
My best attempt at the Joker from Batman. It was a BCT but the hands ripped on on the transfer. grrr! That's why they look really bad. Also didn't cover the back with white, so it rippled on the cake. Live and learn!

A simple 9x13 for ONU grad. Polar bear prints...in case you didn't catch them. :o)
From the Wilton book...a 10" and 6" stacked 2-layer cakes decorated in buttercream. I found the topper at a dollar store. 24 spongebob cupcakes went under the stacked pilars.

My first attempt at a mosaic decoration. Not the greatest! Got the idea from the Cake Decorator's magazine. Used MMF for the decor. This cake was sugar-free including the frosting.

11x15 cake; all non-dairy; half chocolate and half raspberry. It was hard to find a Pokemon pic that wouldn't take a seasoned artist to draw, but I finall found one!
I got this idea from someone in the gallery. It is black MMF for the bra, rice crispies covered in buttercream for the boobs. It was a surprise cake for my mom's 60th! My DH says they looked fake and bumpy! :o(
Used my projector with the party invitation to make FBCT. The other color was sprayed on with Wilton Spray. I used left over fondant flowers to conceal the edges of the transfer. The board is covered in tissue paper and then clear contact paper.
Another Tink cake. I used my projector and their invitation for the image. I wish I had an airbrush so that I can add flesh color without making it look like a scarred burn victim! LOL So I just left it the base color and outlined the skin parts with the right color. I realized that I forgot the "th" after the 4 before she picked it up and added it real quick! whew!
My first square wedding cake. This cake was adapted from the cake on page 7 of the Wilton "Romantic Portfolio" book. I grossly underestimated my setup time! I didn't add the flowers until I got to the hall. It took over 3 hrs to attach them all. My DH helped apply them and kept denting the icing! The flowers are made from MMF and took about 5 hours to make them all. The rest is yellow tinted buttercream. The center stack is 16-14-10-6 and the two side cakes are both 10-6". Serves approx 340.
This was a very large wedding; just about killed me! There were 11 cakes in all. All of them were different flavors! The biggest cake weighed in at about a hundred pounds. (kidding) It took me and my husband and the florist to get it on the posts! The leaves were MMF and the tiny flowers were royal. The buttercream was tinted ivory.
Yet another OSU cake! This one done with the projector. It's a 9x13. I realized AFTER I'm getting ready to post the pic that I completely forgot to add the #13 after "Happy"!! I was in such a hurry to get it done! Don't you just hate that?!?
16-12-8-6 inch cakes on 22" silver cake stand. All buttercream. The topper was the grandparent's topper from 1951. Gerber daisies made this simple cake look terrific!
14-10-6" cakes in the center and 10" cakes around the table. Two colored vines and leaves on the cakes with ivory base frosting, champaigne boarders and fresh flowers. I didn't know that I'd have to do the flower arranging until I got there!

This was a cake that was to be "fall themed" in color for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I used a new color; Terra Cotta, and my husband said it is ugly. hmmm. Anyway, after hearing that, I thought the entire cake was ugly! I almost didn't post it! My mums didn't turn out well either. But the red leaves were nice. Sometimes you just don't feel the creative bug in you, ya know?!

Other than my #4, I think this turned out pretty cool. Used my projector to put the image on the cake.
This setup was originally a Martha Stewart design. They ended up using a plant stand instead of the stand in the book. When I got there, it was soooo wobbily!!! You can sort of see how the cakes were so heavy that they were sagging down. I just prayed that it made it until the guests arrived! Each of the seven 10" cakes were decorated differently; I'll post them individually for a closup view.
