My nephew wanted a twilight cake with just the word "twilight". I had a little trouble with the black bleeding into the white on the lettering, but he liked it and that's all that matters :o)
Pressed for time, I picked up a generic/blank cake at the bakery, freehanded the images, and added my own embellishments LOL My poor nephew will get a truly homemade cake for his 2nd birthday ;o)
my first attempt at FBCT... I learned a lot :o)
This was my first attempt at an image transfer. I had some trouble with the face, but my daughter didn't care LOL. TFL!
I used cupcakes to make the hat :o) TFL!
One of the girls in our Girl Scout troop is allergic to red dye, so I opted to stick with green and white. Not my best work, but the kids didn't care :o)
I accidentally decapitated the "baby" and had to glue the head back on with icing LOL... I think they turned out ok for my first decorated cookies anyway :o)
WASC, ribbon, and buttercream with fondant roses I wanted more of an antique gold, so I mixed the gold luster dust with kahlua instead of the usual vodka, and used that on the plastic "50" as well to tone down some of the brightness. TFL!
