This was for my son's third birthday. Lightning McQueen is a frozen buttercream transfer.
My son is madly in love with Dinosaurs, so for his fifth birthday, my best friend and I made this cake for him. He loved it!

This is a cake my best friend and I made for her grandmother's 71st birthday. She loved flowers, so she loved the cake. It is covered in chocolate fondant, with white buttercream and sliced strawberries between layers of chocolate cake. The flowers are made from gumpaste.
These were for my son's 4th Birthday party. He is a die hard Transformers fan. The autobot symbol is made from fondant and brushed with water to make it shine. All he wanted was a cake with Bumblebee and Optimus on top, but we needed another cake so we made the one with the autobot symbol to go with it.
This was my first attempt at a frozen buttercream transfer. It went pretty well, but the party was outside so it started to melt a little and the colors didn't look so great afterwards.

We had a small accident with the shark's teeth. He wasn't completely dry yet when we tried to put him on the cake. Shark, crabs,starfish,stingray and turtle are fondant and gumpaste. The fish and other decorations are buttercream. The "sand" is graham cracker crumbs. Rocks are marbled fondant.
