Soooooo over this cake
My first go at making fondant roses, I think they look more like cabbages..... never mind. This is a fruit cake (soaked in brandy).
My dad's been ill and asked me to bake a thank you cake for the nurse that comes each day to change his bandages. Chocolate cake, chocolate icing and gumpaste figures.
I made this cake for a friends birthday. The words are Samoan for Happy Birthday to you. He is a chief and Faleafa is his title name. The hula girl is supposed to be a Samoan dancer. Chocolate cake with buttercream icing.
I'd made the shapes to make a balloon cake, they turned into Purple People Eaters! My little boy made me make his without the pink nose!
I was supposed to be doing a trail run for a balloon cake.... not sure how I ended up with this????
This was one of the first cakes I did for a friend's daughter 4yrs (all she told be that she wanted pink and loads of butterflies). I was one of those cakes the more you did the worse you felt about it. I broke the little dolls foot so had to cover it in butterflies!!! All made with Fondant.

This is the first cake I EVER made... for my daughter's BDay. I followed the BC recipe to the letter and it was very stiff, my arms nearly fell off afterwards but I was too scared to adjust it as I didn't really know what I was doing! She loved it though.
My first try at a panda using the Mini 3D bear pan. I am trying the large size 3D pan on the weekend for the first time... quite nervous!
