First attempt at a Debbie Brown inspired cottage.
I used fresh orange roses and dusted them with edible glitter to give them a nice elegant shimmer.
This was a cake made for someone at my work who was moving to another state. I had everyone sign two pieces of paper and copied them onto edible paper. Drizzled light blue chocolate on the sides and air brushed sides. I added ribbon curls to the cake.
Yellow Cake with chocolate frosting and filling. Just used wine bottle/glass mold with milk and white chocolate. Brushed edible gold dust on wine bottle and pearl dust on the glass. Also used pearl dust for the bubbles on the glass, then drizzled melted white chocolate to accent and contrast the chocolate frosting.
The Wilton Cake Pan makes it very hard to take any credit for such a simple cake. Just followed the concept of the picture. Cake was French Vanilla with strawberry filling.
Purple swirled border to contrast with pink airbrushed buttercream accenting the edible image. Added glitter dust for the sparkle effect. Cake was vanilla with oreo cookie cream filling.
Chocolate frosting on chocolate cake with chocolate chip filling. Used gold circle string border and ribbon to accent cake.
Used green edible glitter to accent the green buttercream roses. The theme is green because her birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.
Scroll work around sides with buttercream icing. Each tier is a different cake and filling. Fresh roses on each tier.
Airbrushed regular ice creams on the bottom and sugar cones on top.
Used black piping gel to create the checks. Outlined by pressing fishing wire into cake to get straight lines on the cake.
Used sugar cones to pipe trees and edible rock shaped candies. Also used pretzels for the bench and camp fire. Piped red, orange and yellow buttercream for the fire.
Milke and white chocolate covered strawberries. The name is written in melted white chocolate.
Buttercream roses were airbrushed with edible 14K gold dust. White and yelloe sugarpaste flowers accent the roses. Entire cake is covered in buttercream icing.
Bite sized chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Topped with a sugarpaste flower and edible glitter.
Cake is iced with hot pink buttercream and used black fondant to make the ribbon. Topped with a white and hot pink hand made chocolate lollipop.
The roses were made ahead of time on parchment paper then placed on the cake the next day. Lined piping bag with red and blue to make the border. I was not paying close attention to the placement of each colored rose. Next time I will scatter them more.
Used 9 inch loaf pan for tractor and trailer. Cut out shape and iced with white buttercream. Used oreo cookies for the wheels and uncooked spaghetti for the mirrors.
Piping gel on top edge of buttercream ribbon border. Used real satin ribbon on bottom portion of cake and silver dragees on the bottom border.
Fresh Roses and scroll work around sides.
Similar concept to basket weave on sides. Stars filled with colored piping gel.
