50Th Birthday
Cake was actually deep purple...not blue like the picture shows. I HATE my writing and definately need to practice more! Cake was a 1/2 sheet, 2-layer French Vanilla w/bc frosting. Copied from Kariecakes.....thank you!!! This is actually the first cake I charged for...though not very much. Customer was happy with it.

My 2Nd Wedding Cake
This is all French Vanilla w/buttercream frosting. Fresh roses, peurevian lillies and baby's breath as decorations. Layers are 6", 8", & 12" rounds on a 14" square. Rounds were no problem...but I really struggle with the larger square cake. Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcomed!

Retirement Cake For Pianist Co-Worker
Piano is a solid chocolate mold sitting on a chocolate plaque. G-clefs also in chocolate...rest is buttercream. I wish I had done the black keys in chocolate as I had originally planned...but ran out of time. This was probably a little "ambitious" for my skill level..and it shows!

Grandson's Yu-Gi-Oh Birthday Cake
My grandson saw this cake on CC made by Mariamom and begged me to make one for him! This is a strawberry cake w/BC. Choclate transfer that unfortunately broke down the middle...but the picture is very forgiving. (First try at choc transfer). All writing & decorations are chocolate. Thanks Mariamom...my grandson is soooo happy!!!

Bridal Shower
This is from the 95 Wilton Book for my future DIL's shower. Made with petal pans which I found very difficult to ice smooth & still keep the integrity of the pan shape. Daisies are royal with pearl luster dust centers. Rest all BC. Botton cake Funfetti (bride's request), top French Vanilla w/Choc Bav Cream filling. She was very pleased.

Close Up Of 1St Wedding Cake
Lots of mistakes....bulging of bottom layer, scroll work not centered, frosting not thick enough on sides and had shifting of top in transit (was able to fix). This was a freebie and I was anxious to see if I could really do something "decent"! The bride loved it anyway (or so she said!!) Any constructive critism would be appreciated.
