I know this is a strange cake for anyone to make, but while I was in japan we felt so bad for the postal workers around Christmas time I decided to make them "Thanks for calling me at 8pm on Christmas Eve" cake~ so,,, that's how I got a box them!! lol It's just white cake cover with buttercream and fondant. They got a kick out of the cake when I took it to them!!!
This is a close up of the Sombraro. I had to make it fun, so I made little chocolate beans to hide in the hat!!! Just to liven up the party a bit.

This is a cake for my Grandfather's 74th Birthday. He is an Army Veteran. When he saw this cake, he was speachless (and that's NOT him)! lol It is a carrot cake with creamcheese icing. The patch is made of color flow, and the guns are all molded chocolate.
I made this cake for a little boys who's father was in the AirForce. The jet is chocolate cake molded into a jet covered in mmf and the clouds are made of an 8 inch round with cupcakes around it and covered in buttercream and fondant.
This is the first cake I did with flowers, I made the calla lillies out of fondant and I don't know if you can tell, but they have a bit of luster dust inside to give them more color. The #5 is royal icing.

This shark attach won't hurt you a bit. This is a cake I did for a friend of my son's. He wanted a cool shark cake, so I thought, why not have the shark coming out of the cake!!! It is all edible. The shark was carved out of cake, and covered in fondant. a few days in advance I cut out the fins, and tail, so they would dry and stand up.
This is a cake I made for my son's class, they were learning about Martin Luther King and was going to have a birthday party for him (Martin) and my son raised his hand as soon as his teacher said the word "cake"!!! When we took that cake to school the kids loved it and now they all ask my son if I can do their birthday cakes!! lol
I baked a small loaf cake for the jet, one 6" round cake, and 12 muffins for the clouds and covered it all with rolled fondant.
This is a cake I did for a friend of ours that was being sent to the desert. I made the goggles, the chevrons, and the dog tags out of white chocolate. the helmet was made with the wilton sports ball pan and covered in fondant.
Here's ELMO,,, I made him out of the wilton mini stand up bear pan, the banner is made of candy melts. Isn't he cute?
These are some candles I made for a candle party. I rolled the cake like a jelly roll, covered the cakes with chocolate candy melts. I used the wilton party candle thins for the wicks. The pebbles are also chocolate rocks.
This is a dinosaur cake I did for a friend of my son, he just loves dinosaurs and I wanted to bring his cake to life. The cake is decorated with buttercream icing, the volcano is made of chocolate, and I made the dinosaurs out of candy clay. He loved it, and still talks about it!!! I hope you all like it too~
