6" tinkerbell cake made just for the birthday girl. Couldn't get the buttercream completely smooth but I don't think she'll mind.
This was for my sister's commitment ceremony. The had the ceremony Sedona AZ and the flowers on the cake were the same as those in their bouquets. Simple but elegant.
This was made for a library celebrating its 80th anniversary. I sponge painted the bottom book. The top was choco-pan (so much easier). I stenciled on a design on the back & corners of each book & also stenciled the library name on the top book. Thank you to everyone who posted a book cake photo on this site. This was my 2nd wedding cake attempt. The picture was taken with my cell phone so it's kind of blurry. The flowers were fake.
My mom collects teapots. I made this one using a sports ball pan and rolled fondant.
I made a few of these for a purse party at a friend's house. I used mini loaf pans, flipped over & covered in rolled fondant. I think smaller pearls would've looked better though.
This was my first attempt at a wedding cake. I've been doing this for less than a year. The happy couple (who I met for the first time on their wedding day) took a leap of faith and gave me a shot. I think it turned out pretty good and they were very pleased. Each layer was a different flavor so there was something for everyone.
