Made this for my cousin's birthday on Saturday. Her daughter gave me a picture of what she wanted and told me to do bright, fun colors. It's a french vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream.
This isn't as good as some of the flip flop cakes on here, but the recipient loved it! Its a chocolate cake, covered in buttercream icing. The flip flops are a yellow cake also covered in buttercream icing. The "sand" is made from graham crackers which I put in the blender to make them super fine. I wanted to make the shells from chocolate, but I ran out of time, so I had to use real ones from our last trip to the beach!

I made this cake for my soon to be sister-in-law's Bachelorette Party. I was really upset because the top layer cracked.. you can tell a little in the picture. But she loved it all the same.

This cake I made for our friends that were getting married. For some reason his softball team nicknamed him "Joe Dirt" so they will now be known as "The Dirts" This was just a last minute idea that came to me, so I ran with it. Chocolate cake, mocha mousse filing, buttercream frosting & chocolate grahm cracker crumbs.
