Princess Cupcake Party
This is just one of 20 individual cupcakes made for a princess party. I used the mini doll pan and sugar / waffle cones. I put a base of skintone colored icing on the head, and used different hues bc icing to make the hair. I iced the cones with a thin layer of colored psfrosting. Cut the tip off each and poked small piece of lace into the end to trail down. The girls used icing bags and sprinkles and made their own princess come to life. Picking their own hat, etc. They had a wonderful time!

Cookies Cookies Cookies
Cookie Bouquet packed away. I baked over 300 cookies and along with the help of 4 others, we made around 50 - 75 cookie bouquets....I was so tired, counting them all was "whew". We did this to raise funds for a puppet ministry at my church. Only charged $6.00 a mug. Much learned! (if my gang of 4 turns into more, we'll do again.) Cookies were a butter cookie recipe my granny always used, and icing was just powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and a touch of milk, and a dab of lemon juice.

Dee's M&m's 7'07
M&M cake. Made from Small round pan and small oval pan. Iced and airbrushed, faces piped on. Arms and legs made from MMF and connected to body with toothpicks. They were set amongst plain and pnut M&M's. I got this idea from another person on here (sorry, can't remember who.) Their's was much better. I made these in a matter of a few hours, so they are far from perfect. The trip to the destination, the yellow guy got bumped and so he looked as tho someone took a bite from his head. It was priceless.

Clay's Mini Hat Cakes
To go along with his baseball theme, I made mini baseball hats (30) to be taken to school. They were made with a big chocolate chip cookie as the base and then a cupcake turned upside down and iced over. I piped on a C for clay and detailed in his team colors. The kids just loved them.

Wedding Cake
This was my wedding cake. Sad when you have to make your own...lol Anyways, it was special to me. The beadwork on the outside is a strand of beads, laid in the icing.. I left a spot in the back so we could cut it and it wouldnt mess up the front. The cake was leaning a little. There were more kids at my wedding than grownups and well, the loved the "food" table. It wasnt perfect, but I liked it and enjoyed making it.

Randy's Hunting Cake
I made this for my friend who is a logger. He also enjoys hunting, but wasnt able to do so this past year. Notice the sign says "no hunting". So we found humor in knocking down a few of these trees ontop of the deer. "Does this count?" He loved it....but did let me know he uses a chainsaw, not hand saws. :( My cake deco stores didnt have one in stock and those big ones just dont fit on cakes too well. I did what I could.

Zoee's Baby Shower 7/07
This was chocolate cake done in an 8' and 9" pans. A spur of the moment cake. I was out of BC so had to use store bought icing....yuck! (I am so spoiled) Did what I could. Separater is actually a cereal bowl. I placed a dowel rod thru the bottom cake for support. Cake had beads hanging from wire, but ladies moved table and thus moving cake. Cake got a littl roughed up and doesnt look as pretty as it was with all things in place and sxtensions hidden. :(

Kalynn's Cell Phone
This was just your basic sheet cake. I trimmed the corners to round them off better. Covered in buttercream. Airbrushed and added details. This was for a friend who is CONSTANTLY texting on her cell. Her mom sd she didnt know what she would like or if she would even notice a cake at her party cause she uses her phone so much. She was actually txting someone when she walked in and saw this on the table. About peed her pants! Mission accomplished, she noticed the cake!

Won't You Be My "teddy Bear"
Elvis theme. Bear cake pan. Marble Cake, buttercream. All color is airbrushed, except blue in eyes is Shimmer dust and there is Gold Luster dust on his jacket. Back of his jacket says "The King". And last but not least, he had to wear Blue Suede Shoes. :) My friends mom's 70th birthday and she is crazy about Elvis. Was a big hit!

Was made for a friend's b-day. Cake is yellow. Used a betty crocker....my goodness it is greasy...soaking thru the board...yuck!!! I love my duncan hines! The leather is made from modeling chocolate / fondant. First time I used it....has a different consistency than the fondant I have used in past.... Letters are gold luster dust.

Kathryn's Barbie
Made this one for my best friends little girl, she wanted a pink and purple Barbie. I used my doll pan. It was a far cry away from the alien / predator cake that was for her brother at the same party! One day, I will invest in some tubes to insert real barbies, as it is somewhat traumatizing for the kids to get a barbie and 1/2 of her is missing.

Baby Shower
This was for a baby shower.... Self explanatory really. Just 2 layer 8" round cakes. Sprayed green, gras piped on, decorations added. I like using things on my cakes that can be keepsakes from the day. Whether it is something like a bank, this is just a small bear figure, or even the little drink stirrers that are hidden in the grass. Most ppl dont have pictures of cakes on their walls, but to have something that can be displayed and invoke a memory of your day and the cake that was there...priceless!
