This was done using a 9"round, 6" round, small bowl, and 8 cupcakes. Ears are rice crispys, frosting is buttercream. Many skewers were driven into this poor fella's head! The bamboo are pirouette cookies sprayed green.
I made this for my son's bday. I used a 9x13, a small bowl, and two cupcakes. I mixed a vanilla mix and a pound cake mix to have enough batter for all the shapes. I used fondant for the front legs and ears of Tom, and Jerry is all fondant. The rest is buttercream. I lined up the four candles right across Tom's rump!!
This is cut from a 9x13, covered in chocolate buttercream, and the detailing is cream cheese frosting.
I made this for my space-crazed little boy. I used a ball pan set with Snickerdoodle cake, cinnamon buttercream frosting colored with orange and yellow pastes, and melted chocolate for the ring. I propped the ring up on foil-covered thread spools, since it was too heavy for toothpicks in the cake.
