Thanks to nettiecakes for inspiration. It is a vanilla cake (bottom) and chocolate on the top layer. Covered in fondant. Seperators are polystyrene balls covered in fondant - with a dowl rod through them - fiddly but worked ok.

First ever castle cake- not as hard as I thought. Cake is chocolate with sugarpaste icing. Turrets are gelain icing tubes (also a first). Grass is green coloured coconut.

one and only attempt (so far) of a gumpaste shoe. I think it looks a bit clumsy, but my friend like it and it tasted ok. I hid the sides of the "shoebox" under a ribbon as the icing looked awful.
