The wedding cake I made for my sister and her husband for their wedding. Chocolate, jaffa and orange cake 6, 9 and 12 inch. covered in buttercream and flowerpaste roses. all gluten free. A bit stressful, I finished the top at the venue about an hour before I put on my bridesmaid dress! but they were very happy so I am happy.
I used my birthday as an excuse to make a cake using techniques I wanted to try. First time stenciling, first time using pearl mode. I still need lots of practice with the stenciling. The colour scheme was because I was using left over fondant.
Gumball machine for my sister's birthday party. 8 layers of cake, 6 inch rounds. The glass bowl is full of Jaffas and M&Ms. It was really heavy so I transported it in two parts. Very happy with the outcome.

Made using a homemade (boyfriend made) pvc piping cake bone structure. Vanilla gluten free cake and modeling chocolate. Thanks to Nefgaby for her help, i was too scared to carve the cake so its a bit barrel bellied. I cant wait to try this sort of cake again, to improve on the carving and fondant covering.
Chocolate mud cake with chocolate fondant covering & draping and white chocolate modeling paste roses. Made in class at Greensborough cake decorating centre. I think this is my best cake ever I'm so happy with the result.

Teapot made using 3D sports ball pan, first time using this pan and I put it on the bottom cake at its weakest point so it leans and didnt last a day before falling apart. only a practice cake so not to worry.

3D Starwars Deathstar for my partner's 40th birthday party to go with the Stormtrooper in my album. I used the 3D sports ball pan to make the chocolate cake, with chocolate fudge filling and fondant covering with royal icing accents.
Lego Star Wars Stormtrooper cake made for my partners 40th birthday party. Gluten free chocolate cake, covered in fondant. It collapsed on one side when I was driving it to the party location but still very happy with the result.

chocolate Gluten free cake with butter cream filling and covering. beer made out of rock candy - recipe here on CC. Beer can cake filled & covered with ganache then fondant. flowerpot the same. very difficult and many mini disasters including burning myself with the rock candy but the birthday boys (men) loved the cakes. thanks to all the great beer & pouring cakes on CC.
Handbag cake made in class at Greensborough Cake Decorating Centre. I think its gluten free carrot cake (they made it, I decorated it). chocolate RTR icing and accents.
Raggedy Ann completed in class at Greensborough Cake Decorating Centre. All sugar paste (with toothpicks). I am disappointed in the mouth and eyes and a few marks that shouldn't be there, but for a class model I'm happy.
Class Topsy turvy cake. first time doing bows and ribbon roses - duff roses much easier but ribbon roses are pretty. Bows need work!

Lego cake made for my sister's 35th she requested lego as the theme and couldnt get the grin off her face when she saw the lego men building her a cake! Chocolate gluten free cake with choc buttercream filling and fondant icing. Minifigs out of CMC added fondant. All edible.
11inch Choc, vanilla & Jaffa marble gluten free cake with fondant icing. fondant mixed with CMC shoe. Thanks to Nati for template and instructions for shoe and pillow. Cake made for my sister's 25th she asked for purple and princess as her theme and was very happy with the shoe!
