My interpretation of the twilight saga books. Made for my step-daughters birthday this weekend. all three tiers are real and covered in mmf. Everything is edible. all decorations are made of mmf and hand painted. Chess pieces are made from chocolate molds. bottom tier is devils food chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling, middle tier is death by chocolate (chocolate cake & chocolate pudding filling), top tier is amaretto cream with chocolate pudding filling. I really enjoyed making this cake. TFL!
Totaly inspired by milliegonza's cake. Change a few things since I cannot mold figures and -how the heck do you do that quilting?- I love it. Anyway, this was another faux cake I did for a bridal showcase this month. All fondant with silk flowers on top.
This is a faux cake I made for a bridal showcase. Styrofoam covered in chocolate fondant and ribbon wrapped around the base of each tier. Accented in silk gerbera daisies.

The was a fun cake... first time doing the diamonds pattern,... first time doing royal icing stenciling... I had a great time making this cake... and the bride absolutely loved it. All four tiers were a different flavour.. top tier was choc./vanilla marble with a chocolate mocha filling, second tier was devils chocolate with a strawberry fruit filling, third tier was lemon with lemon pudding filling and the bottom tier was French Vanilla with vanilla buttercream filling.
First time doing petite cakes...holy ... what a pain... learned alot... IF i do them again, I will do things differently...lol
