Last minute office b-day
I made cake to look like napkin per request. I wasn't happy with the colors. What stared out pastel turned very dark the next day.
B-day boy will be 3 on Halloween. Top layer is yellow cake tinted orange w/chocolate fill,next is devils food w/ cream cheese fill, next is white tinted orange with ccchip fill. Iced in BC. No fail cookies w/royal icing and gum paste vines. This was my first stacked cake, I was really happy with it. I wait to do another!
I did a royal icing transfer which broke into a small jigsaw puzzle. You can see my repair attempt with BC didn't go well either. Luckly it was for my daughter. We already had her party, but it was her "real" b-day so I thought I should make something. Any advise?
The pupil is messy. It was a hurry up cake, but I should have cleaned it up:( Live n learn. Used the sports ball pan with MMF and rasberry fill gave it a gross look when cut.
I have uploaded this picture last week before I added the real pineapple leaves and brown sugar sand. Boy what a differnce it made.
