Serendipity Cakes
This is the cake that I made for my daughter's 4th birthday party. She had a tea party with only about 11 kids so it didn't have to be that big. I used the ball pan, covered in fondant, fondant for wheels also. I made this in the middle of a slumber party with 9 kids, I'm surpised it came out so well, I could have done a lot more detail just ran out of time. I should also say it was inspired by some other cakes on cc.

Serendipity Cakes
Well, it's 5am here and I just finished this cake! I made this for my nephews birthday for tomorrow(today) and couldn't sleep, so I figured I would take advantage of no interuptions from hubby and kids. I followed the directions from lilrev as best as I could. I did make his arms and legs from rice krispie treats. I really like using them, it's super easy to shape things. This was just about the most fun I had decorating a cake. The pic came out funky, I'm going to take another after I add stuff in am

Xbox360
I made this for a 10 year old boy's birthday party. It's supposed to be an XBOX 360. I did not like the way this one turned out at all. I was really disappointed. Luckily everyone at the party really liked it, especially all of the boys. My husband did the remote for me. It also looked better in person that it does in the picture.

Witch
I made this for a block party that we had in our neighborhood. Witch is chocolate cake in a wondermold pan covered in chocolate fondant, the cauldron is yellow cake also covered in choc fondant. Cakeboard covered in fondant, cat, potion and broom all fondant also. I got the idea from this website. What would I do without Cake Central? I never want to know.

Pink And Brown
This is my first try with dummy cakes. Just playing around today, and I really liked this cake when I saw it on this website so I thought I would try it. The original was much better, but still I had a lot of fun decorating it. I put press and seal on my dummies so I could reuse them, however it made the fondant look a little funny, it still came out pretty smooth.

Goodbye
Buttercream with fondant accents. I made this for an office party for 3 co-workers of my husband that were leaving the department. It's not my favorite cake that I've made but I just found out about it at 1:30pm today and had to have it finished tonight for tomorrow. I hope it's good enough.
