I have wanted to make this cake for many moons. It was a copy of cambo's castle cake using buttercream. it doesn't look as good as cambo's but my skills are a work in progress.
This is how I packaged the treasure map cookies for the invitations. The message was written inside the box.... We love CC!!!
These were a cream cheese sugar cookie with annie's glaze and I hand painted them for my son to give to his friends for invitations to his pirate party! I love cake central.....I could have never done this 6 months ago!!!!
This was my first time doing a carved cake and using fondant a big thanks to karateka,alanahodgson for directions and karensue for her tutorial. I had load of fun making this!! I made the fondant using the MMF recipe listed here and the buttercream and the list goes on...Thanks so much everybody for making my little guy feel so special!!!!
