I created this simple cake for my childrens' Veggie Tales party. The cake was chocolate, iced in buttercream. The figures on top were formed from fondant. The eyes and details were purchased from the Big Idea website as part of a Playdoh kit.

Teddy bear picnic using the mini bear pan from wilton on a sheet. party hats and tiny birthday cake coated in royal icing. All else is buttercream.
4 year old train cake with 4 cars. Engine made with Wilton 3D pan, caboose from carved pound cake, log and dirt cars made from loaf shaped pound cake. All buttercream. Pretzel sticks for logs, crumbled oreo for dirt, oreos for wheels.
Mountain fishing cake for my brother's new baby. Buttercream frosting and fondant accents. Rocks rolled of marbled fondant. Fishing pole, basket, and pail are miniatures from the doll house section of a craft store. Boat and tent created from fondant.
A peter rabbit cake made using the Crate and Barrell rabbit pan. Chocolate buttercream icing, with fondant accents. Piped lettuce, fondant tomatoes and carrots.
A Bo Peep Cake made of stacked 9in layers and a 6in layer. Iced with buttercream, royal icing flowers, Bo Peep is constrcuted of wooden beads (let's just say the gumpaste and I didn't get a long.) Cupcakes are iced in buttercream to look like sheep.
