This was a cake for a set of twins. They each had their own movie reel and the filmstrip was made with pictures of them for the film (edited out for the picture here). The popcorn is made from mini marshmallows that were squished into popcorn shapes and then airbrushed. The effect was very realistic. The party was actually held at a theater and the cake was a huge hit.

Matching the cake to the invitation is usually not hard. Unless the bride wants the damask pattern used. The pattern was hand painted ont he bottom tier, stripes and dots in fondant. The pearl pins holding the ribbon on helped give the cake the over all look of a hat box.
This was a cake for quintuplets turning 5. There was a tent for each child, and the batter inside was colored to match. The cones were actually birthday hats that the kids could wear.
We had this stand custom built, and it was well worth it. we do more cupcake weddings that we do actual cakes. The stand is over close to seven foot with the cake and topper.
The turtle is made from RKT covered in fondant and hand painted. I love the water effect from the piping gel.
