Tiffany Box

The brides mom gave me a Tiffany Box to duplicate the color for her daughter's bridal shower. The ribbon is satin. I used press n' seal underneath the satin ribbon, cut the same width, then brushed on some vanilla and stuck the ribbon on the the cake. It's a buttercake w/almond flavored buttercream icing.

My 2nd wedding cake and it was given to me a week before the wedding. Strawberry w/chocolate marbelized cake and strawberry glaze filling. Pink fondant w/chocolate dots, 178 of them. I used brown satin ribbon to accent bottom and third tier and topper. I could have done better and been neater though.

My First Wedding Cake

This is my very first wedding cake. Carrot cake and covered in fondant with chocolate fondant ribboning. The flowers were fresh. I awed myself, never thought I was capable. Need some more practice but I was happy with it. So was the bride and bride's mother. Sorry pix's a little blurry.

Bridal Shower

For a friend's daughters bridal shower. It's all fondant, roses and leaves included. This is my own design, winged it because I really didn't how to make pink and brown work together. It was a hit, they didn't want to cut into it.

Made this as a last minute. It's fondant with duff roses. Tried to use the molding pattern mat for something different, but when i placed it on the cake some of the patterns started to crack and separate.

Made this for a friend's daughter, tried to incorporate a southwestern theme. Buttercream, Wilton terracotta color. Chocolate buttercream for border and filling. Red buttercream for chili ristras. Added some butterflies, just because, store bought.

I made this oval cake as a thank you for a colleauge who indispensable. All buttercream, yellow cake w/raspberry filling. Sweet peas are quick and easy for a last minute cake.

Crayon Box Cake

Got the idea here at CC from the gallery. I created it for a first day back to school welcome. I went over quite well. I spent most of the nite mixing colors and icing it. I like the end result.
