Bassett Hound Dog Puppy
Had this cake and parents anniversary to make for the same day.It is supposed to be a bassett hound, had 3hrs. to bake, and decorate cake, so it could have been better with more time.I used the duck pan for this dog, cut to strips about 1 inch, for the paws, cut small strips of MMF and rolled into shape for the toenails(then polished). Used MMF for ears, spots , tail and eyes. Was supposed to be a brownish red, but for some reason, it looked black, Go figure, I used brown coloring.

Red Hat Society
My Aunt is a member, so this is for her. Brim is a 8' round, with the partial mini ball pan on top. Iced in BC, smoothed with viva.Ribbon, flowers and feather are all fondant. For the feather, I trimmed out a piece and pressed a fork into it, to get a feathery look.First time making any kind of flower, I think my fondant was to thick, but atleast you can tell what they are.

Rolled and colored fondant for the brim. Baked 2 round 9' cakes. I needed more, but got the invitation like 2 hours before the party.Anyhow, I iced the cakes in buttercream, colored them red, white and blue. Then I used fondant for the stars on top.I should have used diffrent paper on my board, the hats brim, blends into it too much. Oh well, I'll no better next time.

Toilet Paper Cake
I got this off of this site. It was so fun and cute. I baked a 9x13 sheet cake, iced it in green and peach buttercream, trimmed , and added flowers. For the toilet paper, I baked several 3' round cakes, trimmed till flat and stacked, made hole.I iced them in white buttercream. I then got a small piece of wax paper, iced it and wrapped it around the cake, with excess hanging off, and then wrote,Another year wiped away. It was for a friend who has (bathroom) problems, she thought it was so funny.

New Baby Bouquet
My niece just had a baby Saturday morning, I though this would be a awesome, and fairly simple idea. Boy was I wrong. It is harder than you think. The cookies kept spreading. The icing was to thick, then to thin. Put the stick in before or after. Finally got them to look half way decent.Almost broke my neck to deliver before the fall apart, atleast they made it in one piece, can't say if the are still surviving or not.And to top things off, I have another niece due anytime too, (more cookies)ahh!!

Bald Man
We aggravate my husband about going thin on top, so this was perfect for him. I used the betty crocker wonder mold, iced the cake in buttercream. Smoothed the icing with a damp paper towel. I then piped on some ears, nose ,eyes, mustache and gootee. He loved it, and was pretty simple to do.

Another Pregnant Lady
I have a niece pregnant, I did this dress for her in blue, because it is a boy. I did one for my other niece in pink. Anyway, for the belly, I used the insert from the Betty Crocker bake and fill, I placed it on a sheet cake, alreay iced in buttercream. I then placed colored fondant on the belly, after I rolled a small piece and made the stick out belly button. I trimmed out the fondant to make a skirt for the bottom half. Then I rolled out somemore and added breast and covered it, added trim for decoration

Ground Hog
My sisters birthday was on ground hogs day, so I wanted to make her a cake and here it is. I made 2 round cakes and stacked them. I tinted them a green color to ressemble grass. The ground hog was a mini bear pan.I tried to shape his face to look more like a ground hog, I added arms to the front. He is also covered in buttercream, just tinted brown. Then I sprinkled some ground up graham crackers, to make it look like the dirt he was throwing out of his hole, when he came looking for the shadow.

I then watered down a little wilton food coloring, and then I just painted it. He liked it, I thought it was fair.

Tea Party
My little girl wanted to have a tea party for her friends, so I made this cake out of the Betty Crocker bake and fill. The inside had pudding in it. I used the buttercream icing in blue to cover it. I then used mini M&M's to make little flower designs. The handle and spout were made out of cardboard. The kids loved it, they even all dressed up in there dress up clothes, they had a ball(at a tea party)
