This was for a young man's high school graduation who was going away to college as well, so I wanted to include that as well.
This was for a lady who really loved her cat and her parents thought this would be cute for her. Cat face & tail was hand done in chocolate (freehand). The body was covered in buttercream using the "grass" tip.

This cake was done for a friend's birthday. It was a yellow cake with vanilla pudding and fresh strawberries for the filling, and it had a hint of white chocolate in the buttercream icing. It has fondant accents and a ribbon. Everyone loved it! The inspiration for this cake came from a few different cakes on this great CC site!

A local school sorority asked me to do a 1/2 sheet cake for a dinner that they were having. It is a basic yellow cake with buttercream frosting and fondant accents, flowers, and letters. It was my first tme doing ribbon roses, and I must say that I do like them! It was also my first time doing the reverse shell border on a cake (other than for practice!). I did the bottom border with tip 21 and the top with tip 16, I think it came out fairly well.
This is yet another belly cake. It was my first time doing one, I am fairly new to decorating! This was for a friend and was a big hit. It is a 1/2 sheet yellow cake with almond BC frosting with fondant accents and BC designs. The dress/belly was a souvenir so it is done with styrofoam instead of cake. Thanks to the inspiration of EllyRae, Jen5600, HEATHERMICHELE7, and others, this cake was a big success!
It is white on white so it may be a little hard to see!
