Hoops & Yoyo
2 tier yellow pound cake (6" + 8") covered in BC. Bowling pins are piped chocolate, attached to cake with BC. Hoops & Yoyo are fondant with tylose, as is # 7. # 7 is anchored with wire in a stir straw. Dowel connects both cakes, 4 bubble tea straws in bottom cake. I torted each cake and colored that BC to match character colors.

Dreaming
7" square cake cut in half and torted. Used 3 of the 4 layers. Buttercream between layers, 'fitted' sheet and piped bed skirt. Fondant/gumpaste mix for head, headboard, shoes, top sheet, pillow, comforter and balloon. Can't really see but body and inside pillow are marshmallows. Done for a 10 year old's birthday. She's going to Disney.

See Ya Later, Alligator!
This one was done as a going away gift for my sister's friend. It's a doctored chocolate cake with Walter's chocolate fudge crusting icing. Thank you! to whomever posted that recipe. Lily pads are fondant and water is corn syrup (cool effect but sticky!). When I was all done, my 8 year old told me I did the eyes wrong. Lucky for me, the recipient didn't care. She loved it.

This was the topper for a 2 tier surprise birthday cake for a 14 year old boy. Boy, flute, case & music are fondant/gum paste mix. The sides of the cake have a chocolate shell wrapping. I attempted to incorporate colored chocolates but they didn't turn out like I planned. The effect was still kind-of cool for a first time try. My thanks to all the great information here on CC.
