Carrot cake with cream cheese icing and filling. Characters are chocolate transfers.
Customer requested I use the same colors from their wedding 50 years ago--mint green and yellow. Not my favorite choices of colors, but they were happy! I used WBH House Buttercream for the cake as it was going to be outside in 80* heat. Customer said it held up nicely.
My oldest son is a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, so I copied the back of the card for his birthday cake. IMBC for all the decorating.

The football was carved out of a 11x15 pan and then iced in chocolate flavored IMBC. All the little dots took forever, but "Andrew" and his parents were thrilled with the results. I will remember to charge more next time for all the decorating time required!
The game cube is my son's favorite thing right now...he requested an icecream cake, so this was filled with icecream and then iced with IMBC. The characters were added when the cake came out of the freezer--they were freehanded from candymelts.

This was for a children's Christmas party at my parish. First time I tried to construct a tiered cake and the most cake I have made at one time to date!! The cakes were covered in IMBC and the decorations were freehanded out of candymelts and applied onsite.
