Penguins On Parade
This cake was not "cut" to serve. The "iceburg" was made by placing cupcakes into a base-cake. I took a glass to cut "inserts" for the cupcakes into the base-cake. Frosted the entire "iceburg" with buttercream icing, and then decorated with "snow", add the snow's glisten with white sugar decorator sprinkles and don't forget the penguins made of fondant. I had so much fun creating this...and serving it was just as fun. Each guest got a cupcake and a penguin.

Autumn Birthdays
This was an "office" birthday cake for October birthdays. Cake is chocolate, iced with Buttercream, then Chocolate Ganache "allowed" to drip down the sides. Then, just went to town with fall foliage and a bird for harmony. The celebrant actually took the bird and foliage and placed them in a water-globe for long term viewing.

Boss' Baby Shower
This is practically a 're-make'! The original basinet bonnet was made of cake...until it toppled off the cake and took half of the top layer of cake with it! What a disaster, and I had to think quick. There was no time to re-bake. Well, if anyone is interested it's a funny story. Meanwhile, except for the bonnet, which is now made of plastic milk carton and fabric ruffles, the cake is decorated all in buttercream icing.

Happy Birthday America
This was two 9x13 cakes "overlapped" to make a 3-D wave of the flag. It also served as a belated birthday cake for two motorcycle riders. So, I incorporated the "freedom" theme with the bikes on the open road across the flag. The road had to bridge the wave of the flag, so I did that, too!
