This skate cake was made by first building a platform out of craft wood & wooden dowels to give the design the lift. The wheels & stopper are made of RKT. The skate is all cake...one 9x13 cake cut & carved, covered in fondant.
The alligator cake was made using an 11x15 sheet cake, cut in half then stacked to make the belly. We only needed 25 servings so the head, tail, arms & legs were made using RKT..all covered in fondant then airbrushed.
This is my very first snake cake. I baked 2- 10 inch round cakes, torted, filled and carved. The head & tail are made of RKT. Cake covered in fondant, then airbrushed.
