Just Monkey-Ing Around
A fun gluten free chocolate chip cake with MMF decorations. I saw someone's monkey on here that had a banana on it's head (there's was cuter) and took the idea. I think my monkey looks crazed, but that's why we practice these things...lol I gave the palm trees some texture by cutting into the fondant with kitchen scissors. I like the look.

Star Trek "city On The Edge Of Forever"
This cake recreates the planet surface from the original Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever". The Guardian stands ready. :)Cake is triple chocolate with toffee BC, all pieces are fondant, and "sand" is raw sugar. The sign reads "Many such journeys are possible" and is what the Guardian says to Kirk when they return. TFL

Star Wars
Literally threw this last one together for the school cakewalk. I had fondant "Deathstar," and ships left from one day I was just playing around to see if I *could* make them. :) Tossed them on the cake and added a star border. Cake is gluten and nut free chocolate with BC and fondant accents. Thanks to all the recent Star Wars cakes for help and inspiration- esp. whoever posted about using the styrofoam ball as the base of the Deathstar. TFL

Stellar
This was made to welcome back the staff of an elementary school. The school's colors are blue and white and they asked for something to recognize their "stellar" staff. Bottom is chocolate with raspberry BC, top is pineapple cake with key lime BC- it tasted better than it sounds! All decorations are MMF. Thanks for looking.

Funny New Year's Resolutions Cake
My teenager thought of the idea of a "morning after" resolutions cake. The cake is a champagne cake with strawberry BC filling. All decorations are MMF, except for the aluminum foil strip on the "pencil". The coffee cup was a last minute addition, hand molded because everything was already cleaned up! :) Thanks for looking.

Dora The Explorer
So many firsts for me with this cake. Made for my friend's daughter, after she fell in love with tiffy76620's cake. I made a couple small changes, but it's really close. Top and bottom layers are chocolate with chocolate buttercream, middle is lemon with raspberry buttercream. All decorations are fondant, and Dora is covered in fondant as my friend didn't have a princess Dora figurine. "Firsts" for me- delivering a stacked cake, and assembling on site-with people around watching (YIKES!!)

Allergy Friendly Dinosaur Dream!
Made for a boy's 6th birthday. Gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, and nut-free chocolate cake with chocolate filling and allergy friendly decorations. Frosted in dairy-free BC, molding chocolate for volcano with life saver "lava" and fondant "boulders." Dinosaurs and turtles were plastic figures. I don't (yet) have the grass tip or I would have used it. Still, I only do this for my little guy and he was pretty darn happy! THANKS!!!! to all the posted cakes I used for inspiration.
