This cake is based on a few whimsical bakehouse designs. It was huge, fed about 200!!
Three tiered baby shower cake. Bottom tier is a chocolate cake with peppermint buttercream. Middle is lemon cake with lemon buttercream and fresh lemon curd. Top layer is a dense angel food cake with fresh raspberries baked into the cake, and fresh raspberry mousse, with almond buttercream. Each layer is covered in MMF. All decorations are made by hand using the chocolate technique from the Whimsical Bakehouse book.

Cake has hand painted mosaic--its painted with luster dust on white chocolate. Top was a mobius stip (per couple's request). Bottom was gingerbread with chocolate ganache. Middle was lemon with lemon curd, and I cant remember what the top was!

This cake was made for a bride and groom getting married in Maryland (land ofthe crabs). It was for their rehersal dinner. I used crushed nilla wafers to make the sand...everything is edible except the veil on the bride-crab.

This is a mini cake made for a friend who only told me "I hate chocolate!" (Who hates chocolate, and why am I friends with them!??!) Anyway, I went with a banana theme--banana cake with a brown sugar mousse filling. Then I topped it with a whip-cream frosting in yellow swirls. Ended up being delicious (to my surprise!)
