Hedwig
I made this for my husband's birthday which was a couple days before the Deathly Hallows release. It's five 6" cakes stacked and carved for the body. I cut up a sixth one and used it for the head and tail. I'm disappointed about having to just put it on a platter. I'd wanted to make it look like the bottom of a cage covered in pages of the Daily Prophet but I ran out of time and didn't want to spend any more of his birthday working on it. Cinnamon roll cake with cream cheese frosting and fondant feathers. Thanks for looking!

Colorful Wedding Dress
I'd originally designed this cake for the San Diego cake show, but I didn't get started in time to enter it. I decided to make it anyway since I'd ordered the supplies, but I changed the design a bit and decided to add the colors. Everything you see is either fondant or gumpaste. The cake itself is made from hand carved dummies since it was going to be a contest cake. It stands a little over 2 feet tall. TFL :)

Boston Terrier Cupcakes
I made these cupcakes for a Boston Terrier meetup we're going to. It's a potluck and I thought these would be fun to make. The cupcakes are all made from scratch (devil's food, lemon poppyseed, chocolate coconut, and vanilla) from WBH with BC Dream and Chocolate Decorator's Icing from the recipe section here. The ears are wafer cookies, eyes are M&Ms, noses are jellybeans, and tongues are starbursts.

Green And Purple
Wow! This cake gave me trouble every step of the way. It was my first time using gumpaste (bow) and I ended up making a new one the day it was due. It was also my first time doing one so large (12, 9, 6) AND my first time not covering in fondant. The tiers are lemon w. lemon lime filling, strawberry w. strawberry buttercream filling, and WASC w. bavarian cream filling. Sugarshack's buttercream w. MMF decorations.

Susan G. Komen Purse Cake
This is my first purse cake. I made it for a bake sale benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation. I like how the purse itself turned out....don't like the letters or ribbons. Next time I'm definitely going to paint instead of piping! My handle also started to crack (50/50) I guess I need to let it dry longer?

Pink Stars And Cloud Cake
This was my first tiered cake. I made it for the San Diego Cake Show. I was definitely out of my league but I really enjoyed making it and was happy with the outcome. I'll be stepping it up next year though! The cake is yellow covered in bc and MMF. The stars/moon are MMF with luster dust. The clouds are bc. The piped stars and border are royal. Inspired by several cakes on here such as Juju3636's sweet 16 cake.
