This was for a coworker's birthday. I had sculpted it the night before, meaning to decorate as a scrapbook, as she is into scrapbooking. But, then we had an emergency with my son and I didn't have time, so it looks a bit strange to me. Oh well.

My first attempt at a sculpted cake. I used many different cakes here for inspiration. I used chocolate pound cake for the ship with buttercream icing, royal icing for the rails, anchor and captain's wheel. Pirates are plastic.
