My Snowman
Iced the cake with buttercream, smoothed with a paper towel with a pattern to resemble snowflakes, then built up the icing for the actual snow man. outlined him with black buttercream through a small tip, then added a nose with tip #8. Scarf with tips #5 and #47. Pressed sugar crystal/sprinkles into the snowman, then dusted with disco dust. Finished with shell borders piped with tip #8 to look like snowbals.

Strawberry Anniversary Cake
Another blurry photo, this was taken with my camera phone. This is an anniversary cake I made on Saturday. I had a hard time making the cake stay together before i iced it. (Betty crocker box mix was really moist and fell appart easily.) The strawberries were piped with a round hole cut in a parchment bag then smoothed with a knife. Some of the side strawberries were piped with a V-cut. The leaves were piped with a V-cut, and the message was piped with a small star tip. The border was also piped with a Vcut

Fall Colored Spray
My first cake made when I finished the first cake-decorating class at Sweet Celebrations (similar to the Wilton classes). I piped some burnt-orange buttercream roses with really stiff buttercream and it gave it a really cool looking "dry leaf" appearance. The other roses were a red wine color. I found piping roses on a skewer is a lot easier than the nail. However, piping a large rose kind of requires a nail (or a really fat skewer).
