Circus themed cake for a little boys first bday. The Mom sent me a picture of what she wanted. It is 3 tiers of cake and the big top tent is formed from rice cereal treats and then covered in frosting and fondant. It is 6-9-12 inch round cakes. It is all butter vanilla cake with a amaretto simple syrup infusion. Homemade vanilla frosting and satin ice fondant. This is by far the hardest cake Ive ever made and then traveled an hour with it ASSEMBLED on my lap to deliver! I also made the popcorn cupcakes you see below. Made by cutting marsmellows and spraying with yellow frosting color spray.

Very similar to a cake from the pink cake box bakery. The customer sent me the photo and asked for the bow to be removed and the number 50 used instead(didnt take a picture with the number boo) I only used 2 dowels and felt the top tier was leaning back a bit.....lessson learned!

Better quality. I like this green better than the last one. My flowers are more symmetrical and the bow is a bit neater than the last wreath. If only I could practice all designs before they go out.

This is a 6 abd 10 inch amaretto vanilla cake covered in fondant.
Definately not a day I felt like caking and it shows. My frosting was so unsmooth and the bows were horrible. Id like to try it again on a more relaxed day. It was 8 and 12 inch vanilla amaretto cake for a baby shower. The mom had a topper.

This is Amaretto infused vanilla cake covered in fondant. It was for a mans 50th birthday.6 and 8 inch. This is only my 2nd time covering a cake with fondant...It teared in a few spots =( It was some "strategically" places accents.I almost cried when I saw the BC poke through underneath. I hope the customer wont see it
