This was my 11 year old daughter's first try at cake decorating, with a little help from Mom. She drew up the design on paper first, decided the colors and piped on flowers, grass, tree, palm leaves and border. I'm hoping she'll want to do more cakes!

This cake was inspired by a round Mother's Day Cake that was posted by BJ. I made this sheet cake for a family reunion. It is a white cake mix swirled with raspberry puree and frosted with buttercream. It is topped with fresh raspberries.
