This one was for my nephew turning 1, he loves Thomas! Buttercream with fondant decorations. Thomas on top was a toy.
This Elmo was all cake, except for his arms and legs, eyes and nose. Those were RKT. It stood over 15 inches high, which seemed really big! The smash cake has the birthday boy's name and age on it to mimic the Sesame Street sign.

This was a small 6 inch cake I made for my mother in law's birthday. I was inspired by Peggy Porschen's 3 column wedding cake on her website. Chocolate cake, raspberry filling, iced in buttercream and the flowers are made from mmf.

Edited to add: The color variation came from me trying to fix imperfections in the buttercream by going over it again with another light coat after it had crusted. The second layer must have been slightly off in color, but I liked it so well that I didn't try to fix it. :)

These are cookies I made for the cheerleaders of a local school. They are ordering cookies each month for the birthday girls. I used NFSC and RI, decorated in blue and gold, the school colors.
Cake ordered for a man turning 40. her idea is to put 40 candles on top so the monkey appears to be putting out the candles with the water hose. 8 inch buttercream with fondant monkey and water hose.

These I made to go along with the monkey cake in my photos. I used NFSC and added cocoa powder to the recipe to make them chocolate.
I used some odd sizes for this one: the bottom is cut to 8x10, middle is 4x8 and top is triple layer 4x4. Purple never seems to photograph well for me, but it is dark and light purple along with the yellow. The cake is covered with and all decorations, even monkeys are mmf. Thanks for looking.
I am still pretty new at wedding cakes so this was my first with both round and square tiers. The ivory turned out a little darker than I liked though. Thanks for looking.
This was another order where the customer found a pic and asked me to replicate it, so I don't know who to credit for the idea... Anyway, bottom tier is buttercream with fondant strips and top cupcake is all covered in mmf. I amd the candle from mmf as well... Thanks for looking!
Customer ordered this from a pic similar cow cake she found online. All cake except for arms are all fondant and legs are paper rolls covered in fondant. The cow patties were her idea!

I made this one using a 6 inch and 10 inch, buttercream with mmf decorations. The stars were piped in buttercream, though.
This was my largest cake so far. The bride's colors were orange and pewter so I made orange velvet cake instead of red velvet. The ribbon was pewter colored, and the florist added the flowers. She also ordered the TN vols cheesecake in my pics!
