A customer called for an egg-free cake. The little boy was turning 1 y-o and he's allergic to eggs. They wanted a colorful cake, so I guessed that a clown would be perfect. I used the clown cake idea from Wilton course 1 book. I added some balloons.
I decided to have fun today. I made Tootsie roll flowers and bubble gum flowers. Made them in a Bouquet and painted a little gold lustre dust on them. I'll bring it to my moms-meeting this afternoon. I'm sure the other moms will like to munch on them at the break!
A customer called me for a cake, telling me to do whatever I thought was good. Her daughter loves Barbies, Bratz, polly pockets and other dolls like this. So I did this one. It's a Bratz doll, but with a kinda-Barbie look. I hope she likes it.
A customer wanted a spiderman cake but with a vilain too. So I found a picture on Google with the two faces like this, and decided to do it. The cake is half vanilla half chocolate. So it was easy to separate, vanilla under Spiderman and chocolate under the Goblin.

This customer wanted a Hamster on the cake for her 12 y-o daugther birthday. I made a FBCT, and it was it easiest FBCT I ever did!!! She asked for a white Hamster with a grey spot on the head, like the one her daughter owns in real life. And she wanted it decorated in blue, her favorite color.
This cake was for a woman that was taking a year off from work, volunteering(sp?). So her coworkers wanted to tell her to take care of her and that they love her. I had some fondant roses already made, so I painted a little pearl dust over them to make them shiny and pretty, and I had some plastic leaves also.
I made this cake for a practice. It's a real cake, no dummy. oval shaped. Covered with satinice, painted with luster dust. Made fudge roses to decorate it. top tier is white cake, middle is devil's food and bottom tier is marble cake. I didn't picture of wedding cakes in my portfolio, so I made this one, beside we needed desserts!!!

I made this cake for my mom. It's a 6" cake. We were going together for the weekend to my grand-father's funeral and we were leaving on her birthday. So when we stopped for lunch I gave it to her for dessert. She was really surprised!!

The customer wanted a big truck for her 3 y-o, money wasn't a problem, so I suggested a 3D cake, and she thought about a big foot truck. It's a marble cake with buttercream frosting and a few candies for the lights. I used the 3D beetle pan and the 9 X 13 sheet pan for the base. I hope her son likes it!!!
This was made for a customer that wanted a cake to celebrate 4 women at once. They're going to have max 20 people. I tried to do my best to make a feminine cake that she was going to love. She seemed pleased with it. All buttercream!
I made this cake for my big brother. After 35 years he found his biological mother (my mom), I was happy to know that I have a big brother. He came to visit with his wife and kids. I made them a cake, with the logo of their Art gallery on the top. I'm posting another picture of the top. First time using Satinice fondant and also first time painting with luster dust. I loved both!!!
This cake is a small wedding cake for around 35-40 people. The bottom tier is chocolate and the other 2 vanilla. Decorated in Buttercream, on top gumpaste flowers and plastic leaves.
