Law School Graduation
Book cake I made for my brother's law school graduation. He and several friends hosted a party together which is why there is a generic "Congrats Grads" message. I thought six names would be too many. The names of the books are classes they all took, and the emblem on top is the law school's logo. I was going to do a grad cap, but they wear berets and that just seemed to complicated. I also meant to make a little diploma, but just forgot to. Oh well, everyone loved it anyways! Thanks so much to all of the members here who offered inspirations, tips and advice!

Cheeseburger Cake
I made this for my brother's birthday. He's not a big sweets person, and he once said he'd rather eat a hamburger than have cake, so I thought I'd make a hamburger cake! It was a surprise, and he really loved it! I used a non-crusting buttercream, so I wasn't able to get the icing as smooth as I would have liked on the top bun.

Blue Polka Dots And Stripes Grad Cake
For my sister's college graduation. There was supposed to be an edible image of her school's seal in the bottom corner, but I waited until the last minute to have it printed off, and the printer at the grocery store where I have them made was broken. Oh well. She liked it anyways.
