My co-worker asked me to make her a pink and purple baby shower cake (she's having her first baby girl!) so I put this cake together; it's yellow cake with sliced strawberries, bananas and pudding filling. Iced in BC with pink BC flowers.

This is a cake I made for a friend's birthday party. It's a chocolate cake with fudge filling and chocolate icing (she loved chocolate!) on top of the cake as a little pagoda like thing put together with thin pieces of chocolate and buttercream icing. I made the jello flowers out of floral wire (they came out SO much nicer than I ever expected!) Will definately do this again!
These are the first "cake truffles" that I have ever made! I made these for a potluck that my mom had to go to. I made chocolated coated chocolate cake ones, coconut chocolate ones and white chocolate coated strawberry ones. I was very pleased with the results! Thanks for all the ideas/help and inspiration!

I made this cake for my brother's baby shower, welcoming his first child. Her name is Emily, and this cake took FOREVER, but it really looked great! It was a lot of fun to make but also very challenging!
